Back on the Bandwagon

Well with the rejection of trying out for the Biggest Loser last weekend.  I decided to start back on my diet and exercise regimen again.  This will be my 3rd time really starting to lose weight. i started today with CURVES at 7am and protein shake for breakfast with fruit.  I am still 17lbs down but gained back 6lbs.  It felt great to work out again even though it kicked my butt.  I did work up a sweat but I also wasn't giving it my all.  But that will change.  I am still on the search for a Personal trainer and dietician.

GOALS!!!

My first short term goal to to hit 291 that is 10% of my current weight.  I thought about giving myself a deadline but that would really be setting myself up for failure and I don't want that.

My first long term goal is to lose 100 lbs and start up kick boxing.  That's right KICKBOXING!!! I have wanted to do it for years.  I really think that it will be great for Cardio and helping to tightening up any lose skin.

At this point in my life I have to be accountable for what I have done to myself and stop blaming the abuse and heart ache for the weight gain.  So I plan to update my blog periodically.  But you can guarantee at least once a month I may put up photos per month with measurements then again I may not.  So here we go.

Didn't get the call :(

Well for the first time in a long time I stepped out of my comfort zone.  My friend Christi and I decided to apply got the show "The Biggest Loser".  We went through weeks of video taping and dealing with scorching heat to make our video.  We submitted the video and no one viewed it for weeks until Christi asked on Twitter about not viewing it.  Then they finally viewed it.  There were no emails or VIP passes only an invite to the casting call.  We left friday evening and to Dallas around 9:30pm.  We went directly to Gilley's for the Meet and Greet, and finally got to meet alot of ppl that we had been talking to on facebook and plan to stay in touch for ever. lol  We also got to meet Staci Birdwell from "Extreme Makeover Weightloss Edition". We finally got back to the hotel and in bed by midnight. We were up at 5am on Saturday and decided to take the hotel shuttle well we were supposed to leave at 7am straight up.  Yeah that didn't happen.  We got the Gilley's around 8am.  But the good thing is that we were only 2 behind a couple of gals that we met the night before at the meet and greet.  We were number #101 and #102.  We met with Karen the Casting Director and she said that I was "Adorable".  We left and met with everyone that we had met up with the night before in Jack Daniel's.  We all were kinda standing around when Don and Dan Evans (BL11 contestants) came in, we got to talk with them.  We spent about 2 hours with them and even invited them to sit and hang out with us.  They were so inspirational.   Then later Staci from EMWLE showed up and we got to actually talk with her more and she was also equally Inspirational.  So around 4pm we decided to go to this great store called "Sam Moon" and I instantly fell in love.  I got a new purse, wallet, and key chain.  So after some retail therapy we went back to the hotel to wind down and changed to head to the "CheeseCake Factory".  Well that all changed when we checked twitter and they had posted that all call backs had been made.  I wanted to just cry.  We had worked so darn hard and come so far to get nothing.  I held it together and fought back tears until I got ready for bed.  I cried myself to sleep.  I haven't cried that much in a long time.  I woke up this morning really angry.  But decided that I was not gonna let it get me down.  I started my weight loss journey with out BL and I am going to end it with out BL.  So now I am planning on putting together a support group for my family and friends and hopefully it will grow from there.  I want a network of people to work together to lose the weight.  Maybe one day the group will be so big that it will go city wide and become something for the whole community can do. I promised myself  that if I didn't get on the show that I would start looking for a personal trainer and lose the weight.
