JANUARY 2012 WEIGH IN/ FINALLY UNDER 300LBS!!!!!!

Well i went in for my first weigh in of the year.  That is what I do like about Curves is that every month I weigh in and get measured.   I stepped on the scale and  Connie (owner of Haughton Curves) put it on 300 to start out with.  I told her no and I put it on 250 mark.  I was beyond excited to see it at 299!!!!!!  Hell yeah baby!!!  I knew if I just got back on track it would work.  And sure enough it did.  I have working so hard for my first BIG GOAL!!! Next goal is to be below 250 lbs.  I know that i can do it, if I stay on track work out every day and eat right.  I know for a fact that I can never say that I do not have any support because I have the best support system in the world.  My family and friends.  If it wasn't for them i wouldn't be here.So here are my measurements.





Bust- 50.5 inches (.5 in loss)
Waist- 41 inches (1 in Loss)
Abdomen- 61 inches (.5 in gain)
Hips- 61.5 inches ( .5 in Loss)
Thighs- 54 inches (1 in Loss)
Arms- 31 inches (1 in loss)
Body Fat- 48.00% (30% loss)
BMI- 47.30 (.8 Loss)
WEIGHT : 299 LBS (4 lbs loss)

1st week success

Well the first week of the new year is down and I have done quite well if I do say so myself. lol  I have really held strong to impulses.  I know that 75% of my weight loss is my food intake.  I hate the fact that food is so darn expensive but what else can I do ya know. 

I had my first Treat meal and it wasn't to bad.  Went to red Lobster and got the 4 course feast for $15.99.  I chose Grilled Garlic Shrimp and chicken (only ate half of the chicken saved the rest for Sat lunch). ate only 1 cheddar biscuit, had garden salad with 2 tbsp of ranch, broccoli and then for dessert had an Apple Crostada.   It was all soooo good.  I hope to have another great week.  But there will be a exercise set back this week since Joshua will be having his ear surgery this thursday but I plan on going to curves so it wont be to bad.  I will go and get my measurements this week so we will see where I stand and how bad I have been since October.

First Body Pump of the year

Well I went to the gym today  and did BodyPump '79 and boy did the work out wear my body out.  I haven't worked out in over 3 weeks.  It felt good afterwards but I thought that i was going to die. lol  I went to the drs this afternoon and he doesn't think that my meds are the cause for me gaining my weight.  He does think that it is a good idea for me start seeing a nutritionist.  It will cost me roughly $200-$300 to see a nutritionist but I know that it will be worth it.

Hello 2012!!!!!

Well it is officially 2012.  Now to start off I DO NOT BELIEVE IN NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS!!!!!!  I have always seen them as setting us up for failures.  And that is not how I see the new year before me.  I have always felt really uneasy to even think about setting one.  But this year is different.  No I am not setting a resolution but instead setting up goals for myself.  I hit a plateau about 2 months ago and have basically letting that failure take me over and allowed myself fall off the band wagon.  Now I have been working out so that has kept myself from staying where I am.  But that is all going to change today.


I started out last year at 348 in January.  This morning I weighed in at 305.  I started a new blog
http://foodwarriorprincess.blogspot.com/  This blog is more about nutrition that I have learned through reading awesome books of "Eat Clean Diet" and The Biggest Loser cook books.  I will be putting Nutrition Tips and recipes that either I have tried or want to try.  I also will be setting up a Facebook and Twitter page.  I want this new blog to be something that might help someone else with their battle with losing weight.   This is my one of the BIGGEST BATTLES THAT I WILL EVER FIGHT.
